My goal is to take the stress out of your photography session. My sessions are fun, laid back, and meaningful. I pour everything I have into my clients and into my sessions, making them enjoyable and fun! My style is laid back and minimalistic, focusing on you, your unique family connection and capturing those moments.
For family, senior and maternity sessions, we meet at one of the incredible outdoor locations our area has to offer. Families can also choose to have their sessions in their homes.
For newborn sessions, we meet in the comfort of your home or in my home-based studio.

simple, all-inclusive pricing
I never want you to have to choose your favorite images and I never want to restrict the images I edit and place in your gallery. My style of photography results in a collection of images that speak to your families unique beauty and connection.
Your session fee includes the on location session experience and all of the high resolution digital files from your gallery to keep for life and print and use as you see fit.
Life is busy…and I get that. But printing your photos is important. I want all of my clients to walk away with something tangible from their session, so you will also receive a complimentary custom album from your session that I design.
family session | $350 + sd state sales tax
*$150 deposit is due at time of booking to secure your session date
Includes a session with immediate family members, usually lasting around an hour. Includes all high resolution digital images that I edit from your session, in both color and black & white (minimum of 50 images), and a private online gallery where you can easily download, share and print all of your images. You can also purchase additional prints and canvases directly from your gallery. You will also receive a complimentary luxury album from your session that I design.
newborn session | $350 + sd state sales tax
*$150 deposit is due at booking to secure your session date.
Includes a custom, minimally posed newborn portrait session that takes place in the comfort of your home or in my home-based studio. Newborn sessions feature the newborn and his or her immediate family and usually last around two hours. Includes all high resolution digital images that I edit from your session, in both color and black and white (minimum of 50 images), and a private online gallery where you can easily download, share and print all of your images. You can also purchase additional prints and canvases directly from your gallery. You will also receive a complimentary luxury album from your session that I design.
fresh48 session | $250 + sd state sales tax
*$150 deposit is due at booking to secure your session date.
Birth is an amazing thing and the precious moments after are fleeting. A birth space newborn session allows those raw memories to be savored forever. Your session will take place in your birth space (hospital, home, birth center). These sessions are completely documentary in nature. I come in and capture you connecting with your new baby. This session is only for the immediate family. I keep my schedule open around your due date and will visit your space within the first 48 hours of baby’s life or before you are discharged form the hospital. Sessions usually last 30 minutes to 1 hour. These sessions are stress free and relaxed. No prepping necessary. Includes all high resolution digital images that I edit from your session, in both color and black and white (minimum of 35 images), and a private online gallery where you can easily download, share and print all of your images. You can also purchase additional prints and canvases directly from your gallery. You will also receive a complimentary luxury album from your session that I design.
*Book a fresh48 session with a newborn session for $150. Images from both shoots will be included in one complimentary luxury album from both sessions that I design.
petite maternity session | $150 + sd state sales tax
Only available when booked with a newborn or fresh48 session. If booked alone it is charged as a full portrait session at $350
Includes a maternity session featuring the expecting mother. Family and significant other included in the session. Session usually lasts around an hour. Includes all digital files from the session in both color and black and white. Images delivered, displayed for viewing, and available for direct download in a private online gallery. Images from your maternity session will be included in your custom newborn album.
senior session | $500 + sd state sales tax
*$150 deposit is due at booking to secure your session date.
This complete session includes a custom, personalized senior experience with Kristen Ann, up to 2 hours of shooting at 2-3 select locations, and 3-4 outfit changes. Includes all high resolution digital images that I edit from your session, in both color and black and white, and a private online gallery where you can easily download, share and print all of your images. You can also purchase additional prints and canvases directly from your gallery. You will also receive a complimentary luxury album from your session that I design.

- Cash/Check/Debit/Credit/Paypal are accepted
- All images/galleries will be delivered to a personal online Pixieset gallery
- I recommend ordering prints through your Pixieset gallery (mpix.com) to guarantee excellent quality prints
- Custom USB’s are available for purchase at $20 a piece
- sd state sales tax is 6.5% and will be added to each session price
- Images taken during all sessions can & will be used in the Kristen Ann Photography portfolio & associated materials
- In the event of sickness, weather, or something beyond your control, we will reschedule for the soonest available time
